Mission: All natural, grass fed, high quality products ... with a personal touch and minimal impact on our environment!
True to our mission 2009 completed our green energy project with a wind/solar alternative energy system which powers our barns and water pump; to date we do not have grid power to the ranch.
A work in progress
KJ'n Ranch Inc. is investigating the potential of running a Sheep Dairy operation in Montana supporting the Northwestern States for cheese, yogurt, soap and maybe ice-cream.
We have a small herd of Dorper sheep for meat production which produces a very high quality lamb. Not large enough for commercial production, we want to research a dual operation by adding a dairy function which initial data indicates a better potential for higher returns per capita than the meat production.
